Corn People

Indigenous American agriculture was based on corn. From the southern tip of South America to the subarctic of North America, corn was cultivated by indigenous people for whom corn was and is their sustenance and believe it was a sacred gift from their gods. This installation symbolically silences the current speech of hatred and segregation with the grain that helped to survive and develop indigenous population for thousands of years.
